- I tried Zyban to help me quit smoking in the past, but relapsed after 10 days due to intense cigarette cravings and anxiety. I smoke 2 packs per day. Could I also use the nicotine patch?

- I am dually diagnosed with alcoholism and manic-depression. I am about to have major oral surgery. While I have never had a problem with narcotics, it does not seem wise to use them given my addictive nature. Can you point me to some bibliographical resources on non-narcotic pain management?
