Last year, I cracked the head of my radius arm bone. My doctor said it would take a year to heal. It's been a year and my arm including joint muscles still hurts. My elbow burns and pops out. My pinky and fingertips tingle and become numb. What more can be done?

A.A fracture around the elbow is quite serious because of the potential to develop chronic problems. Rehabilitation can decrease some of these symptoms. You did not mention whether you underwent any form of physical therapy to preserve function or mention how severe the original injury was. Given what you said, the possibility of nerve involvement (the tingling & numbness of the fingers) is a possibility. The use of anti-inflammatory medication (either orally or an injection) or the use of physical therapy could improve your symptoms. Ultimately, surgery may be needed, depending on the exact cause of the symptoms.
